(POL) INTERIOR MINISTER ATALAY VISITS KAMU-SEN.
Speaking after the meeting, Atalay said he informed Kamu-Sen executives on the studies regarding the "democratic move".
Atalay said they endeavored to carry out the works in broad participation and in agreement, "I have shared government's sensitivities with Kamu-Sen officials," he added.
Kamu-Sen chairman Bircan Akyildiz said, "we have concerns that the move would be a tool for the terrorist organization and those ill-willed people who want to divide the country in case feodal structure of the region does not change."
Akyildiz said Turkey has been suffering from terrorism problem for years that claimed tens of thousands of lives, noting, "everybody wants terrorism and bloodshed to stop. Everybody wants to maintain a friendly and happy life."
Akyildiz said the problem has economic, political, legal and social aspects, "the problem should be dealt in all its parts. We should discuss how we can construct schools and hospitals in those regions," he said.
Kamu-Sen chairman said investments should boost in the region, and added that, "we should all look for a remedy to the unemployment, hunger, poverty, and negligence there."
