(GEN) 11 TURKISH PROJECTS TO COMPETE IN WORLD ARCHITECTURE FESTIVAL.

ISTANBUL, Sep 10, 2009 (TUR) -- Turkey will compete in World Architecture Festival which will take place in Barcelona between November 4 and 6.

11 Turkish projects will be evaluated by international grand jury in the festival to be held by London-based EMAP Media Group.

Projects of Atilla Kuzu and Levent Cirpici, EAA-Emre Arolat Architects, Faruk Malhan and Tabanlioglu Mimarlik will compete against the world's leading projects.

A total of 635 projects from 62 countries will be displayed in the festival.

Seminars, exhibitions and a project competition for students will also be held within the scope of the festival which is expected to host over 2,000 visitors.
