(DIP) PREMIER ERDOGAN MAKES TELEPHONE CONVERSATION WITH TURKMEN PRESIDENT.

ANKARA, Dec 25, 2009 (TUR) -- Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov on Friday.

Erdogan congratulated new year of Turkmen people.

Erdogan also said he would be in an effort to attend inauguration ceremony of Turkmen-Iran natural gas pipeline scheduled for January.

Berdymukhammedov sent his kindest regards of Turkmen people to Turkish people and expressed his best wishes for the new year.

Berdymukhammedov said they supported every kind of route that would be in favor of Turkey and noted that they would always advocate Nabucco project.
