`Raped to save kids'.
The 17-year-old said: "I didn't know if he had a weapon. I thought that if I tried to push him off, God knows what he was going to do to the children or me."
She was stopped in a London street by Loel James, 29, while walking the children aged seven, six, four and three from the shops, the Old Bailey heard.
He began chatting her up and the teenager, from Runcorn, Cheshire, let him in her house to use the toilet.
But when she asked him to leave he allegedly grabbed her.
The court heard she agreed to see him later to try to get rid of him but he raped her twice.
James, of Northolt, west London, denies rape last August. The trial goes on.
