`AMI GORO AREAR!'*.
And Jasper the Parrot's welcome home treat? His favourite dish of chicken curry and chips, of course.
The Amazon parrot, who can speak Bengali and English, went missing from his home in Riverside on January 16.
It is now known he had flown from the garden in Neville Street to a butcher's shop across the road.
Someone who knew who had found the bird, spotted the story and rang Jasper's owner Bablu Miah. Mr Miah said: ``Jasper's in really good health. The people who found him were just glad he was back with his owner.
``Jasper was so excited to see me. He was going crazy, squawking and saying `hello' and `hi babe'.''
And Mr Miah discovered Jasper had tried using his language skills to tell his finders who he belonged to.
Mr Miah added: ``It's a good job the story went in the Echo.''
