THERE was well-founded outrage after Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik gave a Nazi salute when appearing in court yesterday.

The right-wing extremist, who killed 77 people in cold blood in July 2011, is accusing authorities of breaching his human rights by holding him in isolation.

On our Facebook page, Frances Faller wrote: "This monster's hands should be cuffed behind his back to stop him making offensive gestures that will hurt his victims' families even more."

Abi Hill added: "This man had no consideration for the human rights of his victims, so why should his human rights be taken into account?" Robert Williamson said: "I've been to Norway many times and they are the nicest people in the world. They like a laugh and a drink and are incredibly friendly. This monster does not represent the Norwegian people even slightly."

Yvonne Ross suggested: "I think the Norwegian authorities are indulging him a bit. He should be sent to Barlinnie to give his speech on human rights and see how he gets on."
