YESTERDAY we reported that Alex Salmond's hopes of keeping the pound in an independent Scotland were dealt a blow after the Welsh first minister threatened to veto any such move.

On our Facebook page, Leeze Lawrence wrote: "The Scottish pound would be the way to go, just like the dollar. There's an Australian, American and Canadian dollar."

Jamie Scott said: "It's a no-brainer for me, we need to keep the pound."

Dean Adamson added: "The Scottish pound has a very different exchange rate around the world to the British pound."

We also had an exclusive video of former world boxing champion Scott Harrison, who revealed his son helped him rediscover his talent for art. Jimmy Kelly said: "Great to see him with his life back on track."

The remaining members of Monty Python will perform together in London's O2 Arena more than 30 years after their last stage performance.

Sally Wilson said: "Great news - might be worth a trip to London."

John Black added: "Bring the show to Scotland, I'm a huge fan."
