: A tale you won't forget; MEMENTO (15).

IF you've ever forgotten a wedding anniversary, or a birthday or the shopping, Memento is the film for you.

Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce) is trying to track down a man who murdered his wife.

There's just one problem - during the murder, Leonard was hit over the head and now cannot remember anything for more than 10 minutes.

So how can he keep track of his quest, let alone the clues he collects?

Leonard's solution is to create a system of mementoes that will jog his memory - including tattoos to remind him of important facts.

The film has a twist - it's told backwards, in 10-minute chunks, so for once you don't have to worry about someone giving away the end.

This is no ordinary whodunnit. Memento's mystery is how Leonard has put together the clues he has left himself.

This is a wonderfully-original, imaginative film with an unforgettable punchline.
