 In NY023, Stone & Webster Announces Dividend, moved Sept. 16, the


first graph, third line should read "dividend of $.15 per share" rather than "dividend of $1.15 per share" as originally issued. The corrected release follows:
 NEW YORK, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Stone & Webster, Incorporated (NYSE: SW) today declared a regular quarterly dividend of $.15 per share on the outstanding common stock of the corporation, which is at the annual rate of $0.60 per year.
 The dividend is payable Nov. 14, 1992, to stockholders of record on Oct. 1, 1992.
