(GEN) TURK TELEKOM WINS SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AWARD.

ISTANBUL, Jul 19, 2009 (TUR) -- Turk Telekom Schools Project was presented the award of best social responsibility program in Europe under Stevie Awards --one of the most prestigious awards of the world.

Turk Telekom, leading telecommunication service of Turkey, stated on Saturday that the number of international awards, which Turk Telekom received in the last six months, increased to seven.

Over 1,700 projects from 30 countries were assessed in this year's Stevie Awards.

Turk Telekom was presented awards by League Of American Communications Professionals (LACP), European SABRE Awards, the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) and Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) since the beginning of 2009.
