'Woman, children died from suffocation'.

LAHORE -- The Green Town police claimed on Friday that the postmortem report about the death of three members of a family confirmed they all died due to suffocation.

Ayesha, 24, along with her two-year-old son Ali and eight-year-old daughter Noor, was found dead in a room of their College Road residence. Initial postmortem report had stated that the three members of the family had died due to suffocation.

Police found a heap of burnt coals from the airtight room shortly after the incident, an official said. He said the police arrested Usman, husband of the woman, the next day of the incident due to his contradictory statements about the matter.

He was nominated in the murder case on the complaint of Ayesha's mother Parveen Bibi.

The official said Usman is still under interrogation.
