 'WHEELS OF MICHIGAN' OPENS TODAY
 WHAT: "Wheels of Michigan," the first ever exhibition of all 44


cars and trucks assembled in Michigan.
 WHEN: Today at 11 a.m.
 Exhibit hours are:
 Friday, May 1: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
 Saturday, May 2: Noon to 8 p.m.
 Sunday, May 3: Noon to 5 p.m.
 WHERE: Downtown Detroit, adjacent to the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan headquarters, 600 Lafayette East.
 WHO: Sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan, community and industry leaders, Michigan's automobile manufacturers, the United Auto Workers, WDIV-TV 4 and the Michigan Manufacturers Association.
 WHY: To encourage Michigan residents to take pride in and purchase automotive products built in the state.
 "WHEELS" FEATURES: The Dodge Viper, the Jack Nicklaus Lincoln Town Car, the Mazda MX-6, and the Cadillac Seville STS, along with one of each model car which undergoes final assembly in Michigan. The Jack Rausch Trans Am race car will also be displayed.
 Credit unions and automotive finance companies will be on hand to offer new car financing options and credit information free of charge.
 Grand prize drawing to give away one month's use of an Oldsmobile Ninety Eight luxury sedan with unlimited mileage, provided by AAA Auto Club Leasing. Artwork created by members of the Guild of Michigan artists and artisans will also be displayed and awarded during the three-day exhibit.
 Entertainment will include music from the Mike Berst Trio, the Wayne State Jazztet, the Wayne State Lab Band I and Horizon. Additional entertainment includes The Windjammers precision stunt kite flying team, mimes, jugglers, strolling musicians, and other street entertainers.
