'Victory is vital after cup loss' FANZONE If I was manager... CHRIS POWELL 35, Newport.

"WE so need a win after the last game.

The Swansea fans were really lording it up after that, it was enough to turn your stomach.

But I suppose we'd have been the same.

Some of the Cardiff players looked surprised by the way Swansea took the game to them in the Carling Cup, so at least they now know what to expect.

It's bad news for the Swans, but with Ferrie Bodde and Jordi Gomez missing, it takes away two of their best performers.

And we've got a fit-again Joe Ledley to come back in, so that's even better.

I'm not sure if he realises how important it is, but if Dave Jones makes it two defeats against Swansea, he'd better be prepared to take some more stick.

I couldn't bear another loss to them."
