The Most Dazzling Theme: United Nations of Music!

'United Nations of Music' is the theme of the 10th CMA, and was also the theme of the press conference. In dazzling lights, the 3 hosts, Lu Jian, representing CCTV, Xiao Feng from Channel [V] and Li Na of Shanghai Media Group (SMG) kicked off the press conference with music popping up from every corner of the venue, which reflects the hidden meaning of the theme that music connects and brings people together.

"As the pioneer of music media," Ms. Scarlett Lee, the General Manager of Channel [V] China said, "Channel [V], is always devoted to renovations that satisfy the diversified needs of today's young generation. We initiate the idea of 'United Nations of Music', hoping that through the meaningful and remarkable 10th CMA, Channel [V] can introduce Chinese music to the world, thus creating a Chinese music state without boundaries. And we hope that musicians from everywhere in the world will communicate with each other beyond geographical borders and cultures, which is the true power of music."

The event in Beijing successfully linked a Taipei site by real time network, the first of its kind in history. Artists from mainland China and Taiwan pressed the button together. A "golden star", which symbolises this CMA's theme, slowly landed in front of the audience, and it started the prelude of the ceremony for the 10th CMA.
