'Unbounded' is the first in a series of centennial exhibitions at The Newark Museum.

NEWARK, NJ -- The Newark Museum's global approach to contemporary art is currently being highlighted in "Unbounded: New Art for a New Century," an enlightening exhibition of works created in the past 15 years by 40 living artists from all corners of the world. All of the works are from the collection of The Newark Museum, and many are new acquisitions.

On view through Aug. 16, "Unbounded" is the first in a series of exhibitions organized to commemorate the museum's 2009 centennial. The three themes of the exhibition are "Mixed Messages," "Revisiting History" and "The Human Condition."
