'The Social Network' Star Jesse Eisenberg To Narrate Young Adult Novel 'Colin Fischer' For Audiobook: Other Celebrities Who Read To Us [PHOTOS].

Jesse Eisenberg is quickly becoming one of the biggest names in Hollywood, and "The Social Network" star is about to conquer new acting territory: audiobook narration.

Eisenberg, who previously lent his voice to the computer-animated film "Rio," will narrate "Colin Fischer," a young adult novel by screenwriters Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz, Mediabistro's GalleyCat blog (http://www.mediabistro.com/galleycat/jesse-eisenberg-to-narrate-colin-fischer-audiobook_b52601) reported . Miller and Stentz's screenwriting credits include "X-Men: First Class" and "Thor." "Colin Fischer" will be published by Penguin Group's Razorbill imprint and is scheduled for release on Nov. 8.

Eisenberg joins a long list of actors who have narrated audiobooks. We're not sure exactly how much he'll get paid for his voice, but regular voiceover actors can get $300 to $1,500 for a job, according to a (http://voices.yahoo.com/voice-over-markets-actors-2501882.html?cat=31) Yahoo! report , although a different account from (http://publishingcentral.com/articles/20061126-32-06e6.html?si=4) Publishing Central lists higher fees that can range from $4,000 to $6,000. We can only presume the going rate for A-list actors is higher than this.

But even if audiobook voiceover isn't a big payday, it doesn't mean celebrities won't or can't do a decent job. Think of actors such as Morgan Freeman, who narrated the documentary "March of the Penguins." He could probably read the nutrition facts on a can of soup and make it sound like Shakespeare.

Here are actors who have narrated audiobooks. Would you want to listen to these voices over and over (and over) again?
