KENNEDY-WILSON AUCTIONS 42 HAMILTON COVE CONDOMINIUMS SUNDAY
The 42 remaining condominiums at Hamilton Cove, an enclave of luxury condominiums on Catalina Island, will be sold at auction on Sunday, April 5 by Kennedy-Wilson Inc., the nation's leading real estate auction-marketing firm. Included in the sale will be a 3,500-square- foot estate villa, a 2,500-square-foot penthouse and the Hamilton Cove cigarette boat.
Don Kennedy, Kennedy-Wilson's colorful auctioneer who last year auctioned Elvis' guitar, will conduct the auction, to be held at the Long Beach Hilton Hotel at 3 p.m. A satellite connection will allow island visitors and residents to participate in the auction from the Catalina Island Casino in Avalon.
The auction firm has chartered a private yacht which makes daily departures from the Long Beach Yacht Club with as many as 40 island- bound homebuyers aboard. The yacht makes three round trips on weekends. For reservations and times, call 310-510-0090.
A pioneer in the field of real estate auction-marketing, Kennedy- Wilson Inc. has sold more than $2 billion of residential, resort and commercial real estate since its founding in 1977.
