MINISTERS should set up a "national forum" to help tackle the rise in racism in football, MPs were told.
Labour MP John Mann issued the plea amid anger at the abuse aimed at black England players Danny Rose, Raheem Sterling and Callum Hudson-Odoi in their 5-1 victory in Montenegro last month.
Mr Mann said: "Isn't it clear the football authorities are not capable without government help of actually getting on top of racism in football?" | MP Stephen Doughty, at a Home Affairs Select committee meeting, accused YouTube, Facebook and Twitter bosses of not doing enough to clean up Islamophobic and homophobic content on their sites.
