'Retro' Lenny Kravitz set to headline 2013 US Open opening ceremony at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

New York, Aug 5 ( ANI ): American singer-songwriter Lenny Kravitz is set to headline the opening ceremony of the 2013 US Open, and will appear in the opening night ceremony at Arthur Ashe Stadium at Flushing Meadows on August 26.

According to the New York Post, the opening night ceremony will conclude with a performance of 'The Star-Spangled Banner' by 11-year-old Frenie Acoba, currently making her Broadway debut as Lavender in the hit musical 'Matilda'.

The last Grand Slam of the year is scheduled for August 26 through September 9. ( ANI )
