'Reign' Season 2 Spoilers: Mary, Francis Are Going To Be 'Sexy' In Initial Episodes.
The story about Queen of Scot, Mary, and the Prince of France, Francis, who is going to be the King of France in Season 2, is returning on Oct. 2, 2014. The last season ended with Francis riding away on his horse to be at the side of Lola during her difficult childbirth, after he came to know from Mary that Lola is pregnant with his child. He will be returning to the castle with Lola and their new born child, which is going to complicate his and Mary's relationship. But, that may come later, as Mary and Francis are going to spend a lot of time in the bed in the first three episodes.
Mary was the one who suggested that Francis go to Lola, but when she came to know about the fast spreading plague, she tried to stop Francis from going. Francis did not listen and crossed the gates of the castle, and from the otherside of the gate, he saw Mary asking the guards to lower the gates. This separation does not mean that the love between these two have evaporated.
Adelaide Kane, who plays Mary, has said to (http://tvline.com/2014/09/25/once-upon-a-time-season-4-spoilers-regina-show-white-emma-flashbacks/) TV Line that Mary will be spending "a lot of the first three episodes naked. We're sexy this season." If things are not bad between the two, it does not mean that things are perfect. TV Line indicates that things are going to get "awkward" because of the presence of Lola and the baby in the castle.
The episode 1 of "Reign" is titled "The Plague." The spoilers have hinted that the opening scene of the premiere episode will show Mary worried about Francis, as he has not returned to the castle and the black plague has killed hundreds in the villages outside the castle. According to the official synopsis, "Francis finds himself on the wrong side of the quarantined gates, with Lola, as they try to make their way back to safety."
Also, the official synopsis reveals that the opening episode will see Prince Francis becoming the King of Francis and Mary the queen of France. It is one of the darkest times, as these two will soon find themselves plummeting into "chaos after the Black Plague ravages the land and creeps inside the castle, threatening lives and the stability of their new rule."
