'Pottery Day for the Family' to take place at Darb 1718.

Promotional image (Edited) for the workshop from Darb 1718's Facebook, December 13, 2017 - Darb1718/Facebook CAIRO -- 13 December 2017: Darb 1718 is launching a one-day workshop for children and their families, on December 16 and December 23. Parents and their children can learn about manual work and various methods that go into pottery, with tools and materials provided by Darb 1718. The instructor is Abdel Hakim Sayed, director of the Foustat Traditional Crafts Centre and a member of the Plastic Arts Syndicate. Sayed helped establish the Pottery village in Old Cairo and participated in the second, fourth and sixth editions of the Youth Salon, and he is also part of the Cairo International Ceramic Biennale.
