'PLANET KIDZ' CABLE TV SERIES DELIVERS TIPS ON NIGHTTIME SAFETY TO CHILDREN ACROSS U.S.
NEW YORK, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- "Planet Kidz," a cable television magazine series designed especially for children, has teamed up with 3M to educate children on the importance of practicing personal nighttime safety. The television series will be broadcast this Saturday, Nov. 6, at 4:30 p.m. EST on CNBC. Produced by WDTD, an independent television production company based in Deerfield Beach, Fla., "Planet Kidz" specializes in delivering educational news to children in an entertaining format. 3M Personal Safety Products, makers of Scotchlite Reflective Material, was selected as a show sponsor because of the innovative ways in which the product has supported safety causes. Scotchlite Reflective Material increases nighttime visibility, and is found on everyday products such as sporting gear, uniforms and highway signs. World-renowned cyclist, expeditionist and educator Dan Buettner, who recently returned from a 12,000-mile bicycle trek through Africa, will share some of his recent adventures as well as deliver his safety message to children on the show this Saturday.
