 'PARADE OF RIDES AND GAMES' EXTENDED AT COBO
 DETROIT, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Due to an overwhelming response,


the indoor carnival presented by The Parade Company and being held in Wayne Hall of Cobo Center has been extended through the weekend of Dec. 8. Hours are as follows:
 Monday, Dec. 2 - Thursday, Dec. 5: 3-8 p.m.
 Friday, Dec. 6: 3-10 p.m.
 Saturday, Dec. 7, and Sunday, Dec. 8: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
 Admission is free. Ride tickets are 50 cents each or $10 for an "all-ride" pass. The Parade Company, producer of the Michigan Thanksgiving Parade, is sponsoring the carnival with Pugh Shows. A midway, complete with thrilling rides, cotton candy and lots of fun welcomes one and all.
 Rounding out holidays at Cobo is the city of Detroit's free annual Christmas Carnival, located in Michigan Hall on the lower level of Cobo. Geared for the younger set, children will delight in visiting Santa in his Christmas Castle, watching puppet shows, throwing "snowballs" and romping in other activity areas. Animated twinkling Christmas scenes welcome Detroiters to the holiday season. The Christmas Carnival runs through Tuesday, Dec. 17. Weekday hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and noon-8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
