Manhattan Associates Provides the Tools and Information

For Successful Partnerships

ATLANTA, Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ --

Manhattan Associates (Nasdaq: MANH), a global leader in providing supply chain execution and collaborative commerce solutions, successfully concluded its second annual partner conference, Partner Days 2001. An informative and valuable forum for members of the Manhattan Associates Partner Program (MAP2), more than 60 software providers, hardware/material handling equipment providers, consulting companies and third-party integrators attended the two-day conference in Atlanta to learn more about Manhattan Associates' strategic direction, solutions and partner resources.

Kicking off on Thursday evening, the conference focused on providing MAP2 members with an outline of Manhattan Associates' vision for the future and a roadmap to achieve these goals. "It was a great opportunity to learn more about Manhattan Associates' product direction and partner resources such as its joint sales and marketing opportunities and partner extranet," said Tom Singer, principal, Tompkins Associates. "Additionally, it was an important venue to strengthen and formalize our relationship with Manhattan Associates and other alliance partners."

"To succeed in these uncertain economic times, companies need strong partnerships. Through MAP2, we are able to both provide our customers with best-of-breed solutions and react quickly to industry demands," said Michael Croxton, vice president, marketing and alliances, Manhattan Associates. "Manhattan Associates and its partners are working to head-off supply chain disruptions and give our customers the information they need to adjust shipments on the fly and in real-time for the upcoming holiday season."

MAP2 is a comprehensive program that supplies a framework for delivering joint solutions to customers. The program consists of three partnership levels: strategic, corporate and business. Each level of partnership is available to software providers, hardware/materials handling equipment providers, consulting companies and third-party integrators. MAP2 provides Manhattan Associates' partners with exclusive benefits such as joint interface development, go-to-market strategies, dedicated support resources and discounted training.

"Collaboration with Manhattan Associates is a key factor in the successful delivery of fully integrated systems to our clients," said Jeff A. Mueller, vice president of Sedlak Management Consultants. "Together, we provide customers with a strategic advantage, offering the experience and complementary core competencies to achieve our clients' business objectives."

"As we move forward, we will continue to strengthen our partner relationships with constant communication and education," said Croxton. "With a strong partner program, we can combine our knowledge and resources to achieve current and future customer successes."
