'Missing mum may have got lift on day she vanished'.

MISSING mum Sarah Wellgreen may have got a lift with someone before she disappeared, police say.

Officers believe she could have left her house by vehicle, despite not taking her own car. Mum-offive Ms Wellgreen, 46, was last seen leaving her home in New Ash Green, Kent, on October 9. Kent Police are searching the area and studying CCTV. Chief Insp Tony Dyer, said: "Her car was left at home. It is possible Sarah left home on foot, or received a lift."

A man in his 30s was arrested on October 16 in connection with her disappearance and later bailed.

Ms Wellgreen's son, Lewis Burdett, 22, said: "This is so unlike her. We are all incredibly worried."
