'Mini-me' Ben cashes in for club.

YOUNGSTERS in Llanishen RFC Under-11s side have a competition-winning team-mate to thank for their brand new kit.

As a prize for winning the Mini-me Welsh rugby lookalike competition, pastry manufacturer Peter's has presented a brand new kit to Ben Machin and his team-mates.

Peter's chose him as the spitting image of Welsh double Grand Slam winner Tom Shanklin after a month's search across Wales to find 10 Mini-mes.

Aged 11, the Llanishen youngster who goes to Llysfaen Primary School, shares fair skin and a cheeky smile that matches his rugby idol.

As well as winning the brand new team kit, Ben's prize consisted of being a VIP guest at the Captain's Run in the Millennium Stadium ahead of the Wales v New Zealand clash last season and meeting his look-a-like, former Wales three-quarter Shanklin.

"I had a great day and the new kit is great too!" he smiled.
