'MICKEY'S TOONTOWN AT DISNEYLAND' CELEBRATED ON COLLECTIBLE COCA-COLA CANS AND PACKAGING

ATLANTA, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Two of the world's most recognized trademarks are teaming up to celebrate the opening of MICKEY'S TOONTOWN at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.
The first new "land" to open at Disneyland in over 20 years, MICKEY'S TOONTOWN is a three-dimensional, fully interactive cartoon environment where Mickey Mouse and his friends make their homes. Coca- Cola USA will mark the occasion with commemorative 12-ounce cans, two- liter bottles and 12-packs of Coca-Cola products in select markets beginning today.
Consumers will have the chance to collect the entire "MICKEY'S TOONTOWN at Disneyland" series -- 11 depictions of Mickey Mouse and his "Toon" friends on specially marked cans of Coca-Cola classic, caffeine- free Coca-Cola classic, diet Coke, caffeine-free diet Coke, Sprite, diet Sprite, Minute Maid Orange Soda and Fanta. In all major cities west of (but not including) Denver, on-pack discount coupons will be ia, Pittsburgh, New York, Wyoming, Oregon, Washington and Nebraska, consumers may find instant-win certificates, good for Disneyland vacations, in 12-packs and on two-liter bottles of Coca-Cola products.
The commemorative packages are the latest collaboration between Coca-Cola USA and The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS), who have been partners since 1955.
"In terms of recognition, enduring values and 'specialness,' the Coca-Cola partnership with Disney is a perfect fit," said Pierre Ferrari, senior vice president, Marketing, Coca-Cola USA.
"Coca-Cola has shared in the Disneyland magic since opening day, and we're happy to have them joining in the fun of MICKEY'S TOONTOWN," said Rich Irvine, vice president, Marketing, Walt Disney Attractions, West Coast.
MICKEY'S TOONTOWN opens its doors to Disneyland guests on Jan. 26, offering a whole village full of new opportunities for play, and maintaining Walt Disney's long-standing promise that Disneyland will never be completed.
