'Justice' for tragic op death mum; INQUEST.

THE husband of a mum of three who died after an elective hysterectomy said he had "got justice" for his wife at an inquest yesterday.

Linda Royal, 50, was "very seriously ill" when she arrived at St James's Hospital in Dublin from private Mount Carmel Hospital on September 28, 2008. She died the following day.

Mrs Royal, of Kingswood Heights, Tallaght, developed septicemia which then led to multiple organ failure.

Family solicitor Damien Tansey said there would be a civil action.

He added: "It's clear that Mrs Royal was a sick woman for several days before she was transferred, beyond recovery, to St James's."

The coroner recorded a verdict of death by medical misadventure.
