After a monthlong shooting spell in Istanbul, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2's (JPNA 2) cast and crew members are back home. And they can't seem to stop reeling from the experience of filming this big budget bonanza in the historical Turkish city.

Those privy to the production swear it can't get more extravagant than this. Actor-producer Humayun Saeed as well as Jerjees Seja, the frontman of ARY Network, JPNA 2's main financier and media partner, are said to have arranged for everyone's accommodation in the same hotel which has one of Istanbul's best facilities. The stars - Mawra Hocane, Kubra Khan, Sarwat Gillani, Fahad Mustafa, and Ahmad Ali Butt - were duly pampered and provided with WC vanity vans.

The technical crew was bigger than most Pakistani films have ever seen. They included several locals also. The services of a top-of-the-line Turkish production company were hired. According to sources, the company has earlier attached itself with a number of international film and TV projects.

The sequel to the 2015 blockbuster, which remains Pakistan's highest grossing film so far, JPNA 2 is scheduled for an Eid Al Adha release. The film also has popular comedy actor cum TV show host Sohail Ahmad in an important role.
