'Inmates using wireless sets at Adiala jail'.
Rawalpindi -- A senior doctor of the Rawalpindi Adiala Jail has disclosed that the prison staff is providing phone facilities to the influential inmates.
In a letter written to senior officials revealed that after deactivation of cell phones inside jail, the administration is allegedly providing the facility to influential inmates with wireless sets.
He said jail staff is allegedly collecting at least Rs 25,000 per month from an individual against the facility.
The said doctor was transferred from the jail apparently because he refused to obey the illegal orders of the jail superintendent.
Jail superintendent Malik Mushtaq Awan termed the allegations baseless and said no any inmate was using wireless set in the jail.
