'Final Fantasy VII Remake' Gets A Discount At Amazon.

Those who want to preorder the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" can get discounts if they preorder from Amazon.

According to ( Polygon , Amazon has rolled out discount coupons that make preordering the most anticipated RPG of today even more exciting. The video game coupons are applied at checkout, and will substantially lower the price of "Final Fantasy VII Remake."

The coupons give a full $18 discount for the Standard Edition (originally priced at $59.99) and a $24 discount off the Deluxe Edition (originally priced at $79.99). Those who preorder the Standard Edition will get a Chocobo Chick DLC in addition to the full game, which is but the first of many installments.

Those who preorder the Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, will get the full game, the Chocobo Chick DLC, a Hardback Artbook, a CD of the game's Mini Soundtrack, a Steelbook Case featuring the menacing antagonist Sephiroth, and the Cactuar Summon Materia DLC.

Polygon noted that Amazon did not indicate until when the coupons will last. Well, ( at the moment , preorders are "currently unavailable" and Amazon doesn't "know when or if [preorders the game] will be back in stock." This simply means that, as of now, those who were able to preorder the game and have applied the coupons at checkout will be the only ones enjoying the discounted price.

The report didn't say if there were discount coupons for the $329.99 ( First Class Edition that includes the Carbuncle Summon DLC and the Cloud Strife and Hardy Daytona figures made by Play Arts Kai. More players and collectors can be expected to preorder this edition if it were discounted.

Those who preordered the game in any edition before the coupons were rolled out shouldn't feel sad about not getting the discounts. Should the price of "Final Fantasy VII Remake" drop before it gets released, those who preordered the game will receive a refund equal to the price drop.

Other discounts

Those who weren't able to get discount coupons for "Final Fantasy VII Remake" might still be able to get coupons for other games including "Monster Hunter: World" ($17.14 discounted price), "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" ($17.49 discounted price), "Devil May Cry 5" ($34.99 discounted price), "Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice" ($33.24 discounted price), and "Spyro Reignited Trilogy" ($20.99 discounted price).
