'Fight club' boxer dead.

A BOXER who collapsed after an unlicensed bout died 24 hours later.

Fans assumed super-middleweight Lance Ferguson-Prayogg, 33, was having an asthma attack when he keeled over after Saturday's contest.

But later it was believed the Liverpudlian dad-of-one had suffered kidney failure and a heart attack after fighting Shaun White in a Nottingham nightclub. The fight was scheduled by the unlicensed Organised International Boxing Association (OIBA), whose "fight club" events have been blasted by the British Boxing Board of Control.

Distraught OIBA promoter Damian Hucker said the death had reinforced his desire to quit boxing.
