'Euyle Sevdim ki Seni' to be screened at US women's film festival.
The film, which explores the themes of immigration, broken homes and prejudice through the story of a Ukrainian woman of Turkish descent, will be screened on March 6 at the James L. Knight Center, according to a press release from the movie's publicist.
WIFF is held annually during Women's History Month and is one of the two festivals in the southeastern US dedicated to women. Launched in 2005 as a one-day event to provide a forum to screen films for and about women, the event became a festival in 2006 and now WIFF aims to recognize the achievements of women, mainly by showcasing films.
This year's festival will run from March 5-9.
