    POTOMAC, Md., Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Phillips Publishing, Inc., has acquired two respected newsletters from prominent journalists Rowland Evans Jr. and Robert D. Novak:  "Evans-Novak Political Report" and "Evans-Novak Tax Report."
    The team of Evans & Novak will continue to write and edit the two newsletters.  The acquisition was announced jointly today by Evans & Novak and John W. Farley, vice president of Phillips Publishing.
    "Evans-Novak Political Report," now in its 25th year, is a biweekly newsletter providing an unparalleled look into the world of politics.  The newsletter is acclaimed for its hard-hitting analysis and its uncanny predictions on the outcome of political campaigns.
    The "Evans-Novak Tax Report," a biweekly newsletter in its eighth year of publication, provides incisive political commentary on all aspects of fiscal and monetary policy including inside reports on actions by the Federal Reserve, Treasury Department and other key agencies.
    Farley, vice president and Group publisher, said that Phillips Publishing is delighted to be joining forces with Evans & Novak to produce the two newsletters.
