'DOUBLE, DOUBLE, TOIL AND TROUBLE; FIRE BURN AND CAULDRON BUBBLE' --
DOCK STREET HOMEBREWERS COMPETITION SET FOR SUNDAY
PHILADELPHIA, April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Home brewing has certainly come a long way since Shakespearian times.
And the Dock Street Brewery & Restaurant is celebrating the progress of this unique art with its 2nd Annual Dock Street Homebrewers Competition. The competition is sanctioned by the Homebrewers Association.
Is your best beer good enough to go head to head with Philadelphia's finest homebrews? Dock Street's panel of distinguished, discriminating and dehydrated judges will decide on Sunday, April 26, at 12:30 p.m., at the Dock Street Brewery & Restaurant, 18th and Cherry streets, Philadelphia. After quaffing all the competitors, they will decide witch brew -- er, which brew, deserves the title "Best of Show," and a place alongside Dock Street's assortment of fresh, delicious ales and lagers.
Last year's competition was such a success (with, more than 140 contestants) that they've expanded the scope of this year's event by adding more categories, more awards and more judges. They expect more than 200 homebrewers to belly-up to the Dock Street Bar with golden ales, ambers, lagers, smoked beers and much more.
It's a pitcher-perfect event that you won't want to miss. Join Dock Street on April 26 for a wicked good time.
