'Civil disobedience movement, resignations suicidal attack on democracy'.

SARGODHA -- Pakistan People's Party will never avoid any sacrifice for upholding the supremacy of constitution and democracy in the country.

In a joint statement here Wednesday, former state minister Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi, district president Rana Hakim Khan, Secretary General Malik Hamid Nawaz Awan said that the decision of PTI Chairman Imran Khan starting disobedience movement and resignations from assemblies was a suicidal attack on democracy.

They said that democracy was achieved after a long straggle and even the leaders of PPP and its workers had to sacrifice their lives for this cause.

They further said that Imran Khan should learn a lesson from PPP's sacrifices which it had given for the restoration of democracy.
