'Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Drop Zone Playlist Update Live.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare got a new playlist update yesterday, and it brings Drop Zone back to the game for a week. ( Tweets and ( patch notes from Infinity Ward reveal the complete details.

When it comes to Drop Zone mode, the limited playlist will be live from March 10 - 17. The match type debuted as early as Modern Warfare 3 and is still popular today. In gameplay, teams battle over a single marked location and rack up points depending on the number of teammates and time spent in the area. Every handful of seconds in the marked location earns Care Packages with varied benefits.

The launch of this specific playlist update was ( delayed last week due to more pressing errors for players unlocking the Easter egg in Zombies mode. Now, here's the full list of fixes and weapon balance tweaks that skilled combatants might notice.

'Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare' General Fixes

Various map fixes

On occasion, players who have the R-VN, Axe, or UDM in a loadout would no longer have access to the weapons if a host migration occurs. This has been fixed.

Fix for an issue where Season Pass holders on Xbox One were not able to download Sabotage DLC from in-game

Fix for the Epic UDM doing too much damage in TTDM. This now matches the same damage rules as sniper rifles in TTDM.

Fix for some users receiving the 'weapon_graitonsuper_wm' error after the last update

Steel Dragon 6 Reduced sprint out to fire time

Fix for the Axe camo challenges not tracking progress

Fix for an issue where it would take 6 shots to a player with a Blast Shield with the Howitzer in Hardcore

Added the R-VN and UDM to regular Gun Game

Uplink: Fixed an issue in Overtime where the goal VFX and team score would increment even though the scoring team lost the second round of overtime

Taunt combo system added to the Winner's Circle

Fix for the Sage Phantom head not appearing correctly when viewing in 3rd person

'Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Weapons

Type-2 (AR mode) 6 Slight increase to the fire rate and a decrease to ADS recoil

Type-2: Slight increase to hip fire spread when in akimbo mode

R-VN: Increase to the 3 bullet hit kill range

Volk 6 Increase to the 3 bullet hit kill range

Titan 6 Slightly increase to the fire rate and an increase to the 4 bullet hit kill range

KBAR 6 Slightly decrease to the 4 bullet hit kill range

NV4 6 Slightly increase to the ADS recoil

Widowmaker 6 Reduced delay between bullets within the burst

DMR 6 Slight decrease to the ADS time

EBR-800 (AR mode) 6 Increase to the 5 bullet hit kill range

EBR-800 (Sniper mode) 6 Reduce ADS sway speed

Howitzer changes: Explosion radius increased. Explosion damage more consistent. Damage to scorestreaks increased. VFX updated to better represent the explosion radius. Fixed a bug where the projectile would play an explosion VFX without doing any damage. Fix a bug where the projectile could still explode after bouncing off a surface.

As is to be expected from most playlist updates, we're seeing a fair amount of weapons being buffed and nerfed. Firearms like the Type-2, R-VN and Howitzer have become much more powerful, while the KBAR, NV4 and Widowmaker have been taken down a notch. Especially on the nerf end, Infinity Ward apparently feels both guns were becoming too strong in the meta.

Drop Zone is among the first featured playlists to be active for a full week. This policy was ( adopted a few weeks ago.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
