'ARSENIO -- THE FIRST THOUSAND SHOWS' SET TO AIR THURSDAY, MAY 13

HOLLYWOOD, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning with the show's debut on Jan. 3, 1989, favorite moments that made "The Arsenio Hall Show" the hippest, most unpredictable stop on the late-night dial will be highlighted Thursday evening.
Classic performances, interviews, humor and music will be featured in this year's compilation show that celebrates 1,000 editions of "The Arsenio Hall Show." Among those spotlighted are Arsenio Hall's first guest Brooke Shields, superstars Tom Cruise, Elizabeth Taylor and Arnold Schwarzenegger and surprise visits from Whitney Houston, Sugar Ray Leonard and Michael Jackson.
Other guests include chart-busting singers Paula Abdul, Bobby Brown, Billy Ray Cyrus, Janet Jackson, Elton John, Patti LaBelle and Diana Ross. Also featured are rappers who made their mark -- Chunky A, Dr. Dre and Ice-T -- and comics who made us laugh -- Robin Williams, Bill Cosby, Sam Kinison, Dennis Miller, Rosie O'Donnell, Sinbad and Jerry Seinfeld.
Syndicated to more than 200 stations, covering 98 percent of all U.S. viewing households "The Arsenio Hall Show" is produced by Arsenio Hall Communications Ltd., in association with Paramount Domestic Television. Hall serves as executive producer.
