 'AMERICA'S FUNNIEST PEOPLE' TO PRODUCE FIVE SHOWS
 AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS FLORIDA
 ORLANDO, Fla, Jan. 22 /PRNewsire/ -- "America's Funniest People," the hit ABC television series, will tape five shows at Universal Studios Florida on Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday, Feb. 1, 1992.
 Vin Di Bona Productions, the producers of "America's Funniest People," will tape the half-hour segments -- starring co-hosts Dave Coulier and Arlene Sorkin -- in front of a live audience form Universal's Animal Actors 2,000-seat Amphitheater.
 "America's Funniest People" showcases ordinary people from around the country showing off their extraordinary talents such as telling jokes, doing impressions, singing "unusual" songs and displaying other quirky talents. Every person who sends in a videotape or auditions for "America's Funniest People" is competing for $15,000 in weekly prize money for the top three contestants.
 The show 's producers have selected three finalists who will be at the taping of the initial show in Orlando. The studio audience will make the final selection to determine the weekly $10,000 grand prize and second and third place winners.

The shows will begin production at 6 p.m. on each of the two days and will be broadcast late April and early May 1992.
 Universal Studios Florida is the world's most spectacular and technology advanced movie-themed attraction. The 444-acre studio attraction provides guests the opportunity to "ride the movies" including such favorites as "Back To The Future...The Ride," "E.T. Adventure," and "Kongfrontation." Universal Studios Florida is a joint venture between MCA INC. and The Rank Organisation. Director and Producer Steven Spielberg serves as creative consultant to the $630 million entertainment complex.
