 'AMERICA'S FUNNIEST PEOPLE' TAPES THIRD SEASON
 AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS FLORIDA
 ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- "America's Funniest People", the hit primetime ABC television series, will originate from Universal Studios Florida this season and tape 18 episodes from August through December.
 Vin Di Bona Productions, the producers of "America's Funniest People", will tape the half-hour segments -- starring host Dave Coulier and newcomer Tawny Kitaen -- in front of a live audience at Universal's Animal Actors 1,500 seat Amphitheater.
 "America's Funniest People" highlights ordinary people from all over the country showcasing their "extraordinary" talents. Every person who submits in a videotape or auditions for "America's Funniest People" is eligible for $15,000 in weekly prize money awarded to the top three contestants.
 The show's producers have selected finalists from around the country who will compete in Orlando. Universal Studios Florida's audience will determine the weekly grand prize and second and third place winners.
 Guest artists will be showcased live on stage, with Chubby Checker already set for one of the first shows of the season.
 Comedian Bruce Baum will pay occasional visits to the set and will also create comedy videos featuring, "Dimples the Cow" and "Macho Duck". Also added this year is "America Sings" which unveils the singing abilities of people from coast to coast as they warble the same song.
 "All these new show elements will rotate in on a revolving basis, enhancing the regular features seen on 'America's Funniest People' during the last two seasons," says Co-executive Producer Eytan Keller. "After all, the core of our show is to highlight everyday people doing funny and entertaining things."
 Studio guests are welcome to join the "America's Funniest People" fun. Tickets can be picked up at the Universal's Guest Relations window each taping day. Seating is limited and it begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. "America's Funniest People" is a Vin Di Bona Production.
