' Real' bikers all praise for cops.

A DELHI- BASED biker's club, ' Bikers for Good', organised a firstof- its- kind rally in the Capital on Sunday to extend their gratitude and support to the Delhi Police for their efforts to check rowdy stunt bikers.

The bikers rode from South Extension to Jantar Mantar to give out the message that there is a huge difference between ' riders' and ' hooligans' and that both should not be confused.

They also met deputy commissioner of police ( DCP) SBS Tyagi and thanked him and his team for their efforts.

" We met the DCP and thanked him personally. He was very impressed with our effort and asked us about our group and its activities.

He also said if we are planning any such ride in the future, we should inform them in advance so that they can arrange for the security and diversions in the area," said Jeet Kandhari, a member of ' Bikers for Good'. More than 200 bikers from various biking clubs in Delhi participated in the rally in the Capital.

" The ride was organised with the motive of making the police and media realise who real bikers are. Bikers, such as us, all across India wear safety gears and respect the police and law.

They should not be confused with ' hooligans'. We have organised this ride to send out the message of ' Safe Riding' and ' Respect for Bikers'," said Mohit Ahuja, founder of ' Bikers for Good'.
