$94.5 MILLION TENDERED IN KAMAN DEBENTURE EXCHANGE OFFER

 BLOOMFIELD, Conn., Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaman Corp. (NASDAQ: KAMNA) today announced the preliminary results of its offer to exchange depositary shares representing its preferred stock for its 6 percent convertible subordinated debentures which expired at midnight on Oct. 13.
 Approximately $94.5 million in principal amount of debentures were tendered and the company expects that approximately 65 percent of all tendered debentures will be accepted in accordance with the terms of the exchange offer. Final results of the exchange offer will be announced on or about Oct. 22.
 Kaman Corp., headquartered here, is a highly diversified company with business activities in industrial (42 percent), defense (34 percent) and commercial markets (24 percent).
