"Sunshine list" released.

The county has released the names of its municipal earners over the $100,000 mark.

Just like last year, Don Glassford, now acting C.A.O., topped the tally. He brought in $136,802; Cindy Compeau, Director of Public Works, was second on the list at $125,495.

Ambulance services manager Charles Longeway made $120,760 and duty manager Randy Papple earned $101,518.

Gay Kozak Selby, C.E.O. of the Brant County Library, pulled in $106,852. Alex Davidson, Water division manager in the public works department, made $102,545. Lee Robinson, Manager of Infrastructure Services, brought in $102,393. David Johnston, Director of Development Services, made $101,046.

The province passed The Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act in 1996 to provide more openness about public sector salaries.

The Ontario Ministry of Finance will release a complete list of the county's top earners in the next few days. Visit www.fin.gov.on.ca.
