"Quest for Camelot" -- Animated Feature Film From Warner Bros. Family Entertainment Arrives On Home Video Oct. 13; First-Ever Fully Animated Theatrical DVD Release.

The quest for fun family entertainment is over as Warner Home Video's "Quest For Camelot" debuts nationwide, Oct. 13.

In the timeless tradition of Camelot, knights on horseback will deliver the first shipment of videos Tuesday, to the Coconut's store in New York City, ensuring their safe arrival to store shelves.

Some of Hollywood's leading talent including Pierce Brosnan, Don Rickles,

Jane Seymour and Gabriel Byrne are the voices behind this legendary and spell-binding, animated musical adventure. This notable cast illuminates the screen as they bring engaging and charming characters to life.

Jessalyn Gilsig, Cary Elwes, Eric Idle, Gary Oldman, Bronson Pinchot, Sir John Geilgud and Jaleel White also add laughter and delight to this whimsical tale.

Jane Seymour, who plays "Lady Juliana" in "Quest For Camelot," said: "With my young audience at home, I have a very good idea about what kids today will enjoy. My children have watched this movie over and over again."

First Fully Animated Theatrical DVD Available Oct. 20

Just in time for the holidays, the "Quest For Camelot" DVD (SRP $24.98) showcases exclusive never-before-seen footage and inspires children to learn more about the magical world of animation, while extending their wondrous journey to Camelot.

The interactive "Forbidden Forest" menu features the following educational mini-documentaries: -- "How It's Done" -- A close-up look at the intricate animation

process with Don Rickles, Eric Idle and the head animators,

includes pencil sketches and animation-in-progress -- "The Voices" -- Interviews with the voice talents that brought

the film's colorful array of characters to life, including Pierce

Brosnan, Jane Seymour, Cary Elwes, Gary Oldman, Don Rickles, Eric

Idle and Bronson Pinchot -- "If I Didn't Have You" -- An animation work-in-project which shows

this adorable song in all development stages, from pencil

sketches to the final fun-loving version -- "Computer Animation Tests" -- In-depth view of the computer

animation process -- "I Stand Alone" -- The Steve Perry music video in its entirety

Via animated menu pages, the viewer is guided through an entertaining and educational experience that will appeal to children and adults time and again.

In addition, the DVD offers a music-only track, allowing consumers the option of listening to the complete film soundtrack in 5.1 surround stereo.

Synopsis

Stunning animation and sensational songs await you in the enchanted land of Camelot. A spirited and strong-willed girl named Kayley (Jessalyn Gilsig, sung by Andrea Corr) answers the call to adventure when the evil knight Ruber (Gary Oldman) steals King Arthur's legendary and powerful sword, Excalibur.

Aided by Garret (Cary Elwes, sung by Bryan White), a handsome blind squire, Kayley embarks on an unforgettable quest to recover the sword and save her beloved kingdom.

Along the way, these two unlikely heroes meet up with the wise-cracking two-headed dragon, Devon & Cornwall (Eric Idle and Don Rickles). On their magical, musical journey, Kayley and Garret discover the unlimited power of friendship and courage.

"Quest for Camelot's" hit soundtrack, features some of today's hottest recording artists and includes LeAnn Rimes' top-five hit on the adult contemporary chart, "Looking Through Your Eyes," and new recordings by Steve Perry, Celine Dion, The Corrs, and Bryan White, in addition to songs written by Academy Award winner Carole Bayer Sager and multi-Grammy-Award-winning composer David Foster.
