"Lymphatic Research and Biology" from Mary Ann Liebert, Inc.

Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. (Larchmont, NY) will begin the publication of Lymphatic Research and Biology, a new quarterly peer-reviewed journal, with a Fall issue. An annual individual print subscription costs $163; a combined print/online subscription costs $189.

The journal is being designed to provide an interdisciplinary forum for the world's leading biomedical investigators to discuss current and anticipated developments in lymphatic biology and pathology. The title will feature fundamental scientific research of relevance to the lymphatic system.

Original papers will come from a variety of investigative disciplines, including genetics, biochemistry and biophysics, anatomy, cellular/molecular biology, physiology and pathology.

The company said the journal will help foster research on lymphatic pathology and biology. The advancement of such research can have "important implications" not only for lymphedema, but also cancer, AIDS, wound healing, and autoimmune disorders.

Related titles produced by Mary Ann Liebert include the journals Human Gene Therapy, DNA and Cell Biology, Tissue Engineering and Genetic Engineering News, a trade magazine for the biotechnology industry.
