Haworth Press (Binghamton, NY) has begun the publication of "Journal of Child Custody," a new quarterly journal that carries research, case studies and commentary on child custody issues. An annual subscription costs $60 for individuals, $140 for institutions and $350 for agency/libraries.

The journal includes news on the latest developments in child custody legislation and regulation and coverage of both practical and theoretical issues, including access and visitation, parenting and co-parenting, assessment and interviewing, alienation and estrangement, mediation, expert witness testimony, ethics principles and challenges, forensic versus clinical roles, child-centered evaluations, high-conflict cases, domestic violence cases, substance abuse cases, and move-away cases.

The journal is being targeted to lawyers, judges, mediators, child advocates, caseworkers, child psychologists and family therapists and is edited by a board consisting of child custody evaluators, mental health professionals, researchers, attorneys and judges.

Other Haworth journals targeted to legal professionals include "Adoption Quarterly," "Journal of Ethnicity in Criminal Justice," "Journal of Trauma and Dissociation" and "Legal Reference Services Quarterly."
