The journal includes news on the latest developments in child custody legislation and regulation and coverage of both practical and theoretical issues, including access and visitation, parenting and co-parenting, assessment and interviewing, alienation and estrangement, mediation, expert witness testimony, ethics principles and challenges, forensic versus clinical roles, child-centered evaluations, high-conflict cases, domestic violence cases, substance abuse cases, and move-away cases.
The journal is being targeted to lawyers, judges, mediators, child advocates, caseworkers, child psychologists and family therapists and is edited by a board consisting of child custody evaluators, mental health professionals, researchers, attorneys and judges.
