"HSE Is Our Red Line".

TEHRAN (FNA)- Managing Director of Persian Gulf Holding Company Adel Nejadsalim said on Tuesday that HSE is our red line and all petrochemical facilities should observe HSE standards.

Nejadsalim told staff of Karoon Petrochemical Facility that incident and risk free production coupled with high rate of profitability, safety, health and clean environment should be taken into consideration in planning.

"HSE is our red line and it should not be violated at all. All Persian Gulf Holding staff and officials should have solemn belief in HSE." Being the first Isocyanate producer in Middle East, Karoon Petrochemical Company was founded by National Iranian Petrochemical Company and its partners Chematur Engineering AB and Hansa Chemie International AG in 2002. The financing contract for the first phase of the isocyanates complex in the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone, southwest of Iran, became effective in 2002 and was formally inaugurated by Iran's oil minister in 2008. The main product of the plant is TDI, with capacity of 40,000 tons per year. Karoon also produce Hydrochloric Acid and Sodium Hypochlorite in form of by-products. The company's products and services are designed to provide domestic downstream industries with high levels of raw material quality. Also, the company is entering the global competition in the field of Isocyanates market.
