P&F said the publication will cover "every aspect" of telecommunications and broadcasting, including radio and television, cable, broadband communications telephony, cellular, pcs and paging, equipment standards, industrial and public safety communications, maritime, aviation, FCC agency practice and procedure, and satellite and international communications. Editorial also carries all relevant full text of FCC rules with links to other rules, statutes and FCC orders, all FCC Notices of Proposed Rulemaking and Notices of Inquiry, text of relevant statutes (Telecomm Act of 1996, Administrative Procedure Act, etc.), and telecom and broadcast treaties and operating agreements.
The new service is available in three formats: on the Web, updated daily; on CD-ROM, updated monthly; and, a 14-volume looseleaf print version, updated weekly with full text decision volumes continuously added. The Web and CD versions also include a collection of relevant communications law decisions, the entire "FCC Record" from 1986 to present and more than 40,000 topical digests from P&R's Radio Regulation, Second Series (1965-1995) and Communications Regulation (1995-present) looseleaf service.
An annual subscription for a single user to the Web or CD versions costs $3680; $4330 for five users. An annual subscription for the print edition costs $4205.
