KCMA'S Web site contains information on association programs, member companies and a new cabinet search engine.

KCMA's Web site has been online since February February: see month.  1997 as a resource for architects, builders, designers, consumers and anybody else interested in kitchen cabinets, bath vanities, countertops and other decorative laminate laminate,

 products.

The site includes information about the KCMA KCMA Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association  Certification Program, the current Directory of Certified See certification.  Manufacturers, a membership list including addresses and phone numbers, and information about the KCMA -- its structure and staff, benefits of membership, meeting information and current projects.

The site has been promoted widely in the trade press and through various industry-related Web sites. The site averages 50,000 hits and 14,000 accesses per month.

The Web site is also an excellent resource for specifiers, who can get information immediately about certified cabinet lines and the certification program. The information about KCMA certification also educates consumers about what they should look for when choosing cabinets and the types of tests companies must pass in order to earn the right to bear KCMA's blue and white certification seal seal, in zoology

.

Web site information is updated on a bi-weekly basis to keep it current and encourage visitors to return to the site often.

The usefulness of the KCMA site to cabinet specifiers has been enhanced with links to member company Web sites. More than 75 member and 108 associate member Web sites are linked to the KCMA site. Even though all KCMA members are listed on the site, home pages can provide great visual information about products and services. Also, through these links, potential customers can locate a dealer or distributor in their area.

search engine has been online since November November: see month.  1999. Anybody who is interested in kitchen cabinets can now log onto the KCMA Web site -- www.kcma.org -- and use the Cabinet Search to locate a manufacturer of a specific product. The manufacturer can be contacted to find a dealer or distributor in the area of interest; This new feature of the web site will be promoted nationally to cabinet specifiers, architects, builders and remodelers with a postcard mailing.

A new Associate Member product search engine is also online. This valuable source for cabinet manufacturers trying to locate suppliers was taken from the supplier category listing in the 1999-2000 Directory of Members.
