The Web site of the American Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor Corregidor (kərĕ`gĭdôr'), historic fortified island (c.2 sq mi/5 sq km), at the entrance to Manila Bay, just off Bataan peninsula of Luzon island, the Philippines. , an organization formed by the survivors of the Bataan Death March. With age taking its toll on membership, the group disbanded this summer. The site is now home to its successor, run by the survivors' descendants DESCENDANTS.
